To be honest, the last 6 months postpartum went relatively well (some things were a haze).
Sure, I was tired (who wouldn’t be?), and my pajama collection was getting a lot of wear, but for the most part, I was steady. I was functioning. I even had the energy and clarity to start building this platform which in itself says a lot.
But there were still moments.
Moments where I felt off. Moments where the emotional weight snuck in. Moments where I thought, Wow, even with all the support and tools I have, this is a lot.
And that? That was enough.
Enough to make me pause. Enough to make me wonder – What about the women who don’t have the same support? Who don’t feel seen? Who don’t know where to begin reclaiming themselves in the middle of all this change?
That’s when I knew: I needed to create Dha Pure House.
Not because I was drowning—but because I didn’t want anyone else to. And because after everything I’ve been through with PCOS and fertility struggles, it finally felt like the right time to share my story and build a community around it.
A Moment I Won’t Forget…
There was a day maybe a few weeks in when I felt a dip. A quiet heaviness I couldn’t shake. I told my family, my friends, and my husband. I said it before it got too loud. And thankfully, someone threw me a life jacket.
They stepped in. Checked in. One friend cleaned our home before we even got back from the hospital. And my other friends sent us a week’s worth of meal prep. It’s the little things that make the biggest difference—I swear. But even with love all around me, I still had days where I felt untethered.
So I made something for myself. Little tools, gentle check-ins, and routines that helped me feel human again. Because no one had handed me a guide for this—this new version of me, the one still figuring out who she is while holding space for everyone else.
I also found myself reflecting on how much I had learned during my TTC journey, and I knew I wanted to package it all together to support others going through it too. I realized that having a little guide to lean on made all the difference. That’s why I created Track, Trust, Conceive: A Real Girl’s Guide to TTC.
