For the dreamers, the doers, and the ones figuring it out.
Hi, I’m Gurp. Whether you’re new here or have been following me since the Captur-Eyes Studio days, I’m just really glad you’re here. Truly. I hope you stay a while as I share the story of how and why I started Dha Pure House.
There was a time, not too long ago, when I honestly wasn’t sure I’d ever get to this point. But here we are — hair in a bun, baby on my hip, heart wide open.
A lot of people don’t know this, but a huge part of my life behind the scenes has always been marketing consulting. I worked with real estate and creative businesses, building brands, creating strategies, and doing all the behind-the-scenes magic that makes things look polished and purposeful.
But I never really shared that part. I just did it, quietly. Then came birth, postpartum, and a full-body reset I didn’t see coming. And somewhere in the middle of the 3 a.m. feeds and identity shifts, I realized… I wanted to show what it looks like to still create, work, and build — even while healing, navigating PCOS, TTC, motherhood, and to be honest, just trying to keep up with life.
At around two months postpartum, I finally said it out loud:
“I’m going to bring Dha Pure House to life.”
Not just for me — but for the version of me who needed this space and couldn’t find it. A space to heal out loud, learn freely, and help other women do the same.
Dha Pure House was truly born in the messiest, most beautiful moment. And if you’ve followed me since the makeup tutorial days, you already know I’ve been sharing pieces of my life for years. I started doing makeup at 18. I’m 34 now. That chapter taught me creativity, connection, and how to build something from scratch. But a part of me started craving more depth, more softness, more… truth.
And then it happened.
I held my baby — something I was never sure I’d get to experience because of PCOS — and everything shifted.
That moment made things crystal clear. It was time to share the full story. To stop editing the journey. To open up the door and say, “Come in, sit down, I’ve got something real to share.”
It’s more than a blog. It’s more than a brand.
It’s my heart. My roots. My next chapter.
“Dha” comes from my maiden name, Dhaliwal. “Pure” from my married name, Purewal. And “House” is the container — a place where all versions of me are welcome. The creative. The mom. The strategist. The spiritual soul. The one who is healing and dreaming at the same time.
This is a space for stories, digital tools, journal prompts, business reflections, TTC guides, postpartum softness, and everything in between.
Basically — it’s the stuff I wish someone had handed me when I was in the thick of it.
Because I couldn’t ignore the nudge anymore.
Because I believe we don’t have to keep figuring things out in silence.
Because I know I’m not the only one rebuilding herself while raising someone else.
And because honestly… I wanted to show that it’s possible to make magic even in the messy middle.
Thank you for being here. For growing with me. For letting this become a soft landing place — not just for me, but for you too.
Welcome to Dha Pure House.
Let’s build something sacred (and real) together.
